i still remember our wedding weekend like it was last weekend.
my family arrived in santa barbara late thursday night and it was nice to relax a little bit before the craziness began. i had fun delivering welcome boxes to the hotels our guests were staying at, grabbing coffee at the daily grind (my favorite sb coffee shop), and doing some last minute projects (like making an itinerary for the weekend!).
i remember being SO giddy and excited to see everyone all together for the first time on friday afternoon! our bridal party (yes, all EIGHTEEN of them!) came from multiple cities and states including north carolina, hawaii, and up and down the coast of california. i was also really excited just for our wedding festivities to finally begin and to enjoy the weekend from that point on. no more crafting, no more planning, no more DIYing, no more stressing! i couldn’t wait to spend time with our closest friends and family in one of my favorite places in the world and to marry my best friend.
our venue, rancho dos pueblos, blows me away every time i see photos. it is just so beautiful! we had our rehearsal dinner on the charming patio of the bay roadhouse restaurant on state street in santa barbara. it was such a perfect night and a great start to the weekend!
*THANK YOU so much to janelle who took most of these amazing photos! i will treasure them always!

i’m excited to announce that our save the dates were featured on my favorite stationery blog

there are really no adequate words to describe the unbelievably AMAZING bridal shower my sister, sister-in-law, and two best friends threw for me a few weekends ago in california. like, seriously. just look at these photos! what!?! i still look through them and am just amazed by every single detail and beauty of it all AND the fact that they did it all for me! i am blessed beyond measure, that is for sure. they all know how much i love little details so they went over-the-top in every. single. aspect of the night with intricacies that i appreciated more than they will ever know. when i first walked out into the yard, i’m pretty sure my jaw just about hit the floor. i was seriously in awe at everything in front of my eyes that i immediately ran back inside to grab my camera because light was escaping us and the beautifulness NEEDED to be captured on my camera before it was too dark.
